Wedding Photography FAQ
Here are some of the questions that I’m most frequently asked by prospective clients. Please bare in mind this is by no means an exhaustive list, your feedback and/or suggestions will be very much appreciated.
Q We really like the photographs in your portfolio, what is the next step in your booking process
A Please phone or email me to check availability, we can then arrange a meeting at my office in Bath
Q Lots of natural candid photography is great, but will you also take a small number of group photos
A Yes, I will take the essential group photography you need, we will discuss this prior to the wedding
Q We are a fun loving crazy couple and our wedding will be the same, can you cope with it!
A To right! I do traditional and I do fun, wacky, crazy, retro – and I love them all.
Q I am very self-conscious in front of the camera, can you reassure me that my photos will be great
A Yes, your wedding photographs will be great – just enjoy your wedding and leave the rest to me
Q How many weddings have you photographed as the only or main photographer (ie not as an assistant)
A Certainly over 135 - I am a very experienced wedding photographer
Q We would like a CD of high resolution images with reproduction rights, will we have this
A Yes, this is the core product for all my wedding photography packages
Q Would you like us to provide a meal for you
A With longer wedding bookings a meal would be very gratefully received
Q Will you be the actually photographer at our wedding
A Yes, absolutely
Q Do you provide a wedding video service
A Not at the moment, though I can recommend a good camera-man (or woman) for your wedding
Q Will you have have an assistant or second photographer at our wedding
A I will usually work alone, though I may recommend a second photographer for certain weddings
Q What happens if you are unable to attend our wedding
A I am part of a network of talented photographers, we provide emergency coverage in these situations
