Mark and Skye at Babington House
Mark and Skye decided to renew their wedding vows after 10 years of marriage, a small and private affair at the beautiful Babington House.This was a very last minute job for me and we didn’t have an opportunity for the usual meeting or discussions, I was also hit by a really heavy and sustained snow-fall on the way ! While there were not many opportunities for the ‘fly on wall’ documentary type approach, Skye did have a rather special Valentino dress, and we had the benefit of a fabulous venue with plenty of snow. Also, I need to add that it was bitterly cold, and even that would be the understatement of the year! With this in mind I kept things as simple as possible, often using the shelter of doorways, so we could easily nip inside to warm up every few minutes. Skye had wisely chosen a warm woollen dress with longer sleeves, very sensible as it was about -4 degrees according to the temperature display in my car! Any-how, everyone made a concerted effort to fight of the cold, and we managed to get some really nice shots; a good way to round up the year.
