Martha and Georg’s Beechfield House Wedding
There are so many things I could say about Martha and Georg’s Beechfield House Wedding, I’ll try and keep it short and sweet. This was one hell of a wedding and I will remember it (with great fondness) for some time to come. The day kicked at Beechfield House in Wiltshire, a Double Decker Bus had been hired to take guests over to Bath……… ordinarily quite straight forward but no-one had thought about the trees. Beechfield House has a wonderful drive-way leading up to the the house, it’s a lovely meandering drive, and one of the many attractive features of this charming wedding venue .Very slowly amid the sound of snapping branches and falling twigs (they will grow back I hope!), the wedding party’s Route Mater bus made it’s way up-to the house, arriving safe and well. The bus looked great parked up outside the main entrance of Beechfield House, and every one was soon on-board.
After a short drive we were all safely at the Assembly Rooms in Bath and ready for the service. Martha arrived in her fathers lovingly restored Morris Minor, she looked amazing in a stunning and truly vintage dress (which was the very same dress Martha’s mother once wore at her own wedding), perfect in every way. Once the service was over we all headed back to Beechfield House to continue the celebrations, which included a group of men dressed in Lederhosen chopping up a log ( helped along my Martha and Georg), and passing around copious amounts of beer! This was followed up with some good old Austrian open-air folk dancing, before retiring inside for the evening celebrations; a truly unique and memorable fun filled wedding.
